Let me know

If there are any subjects, articles you have read, or any confusion, let me know and I will put an article together. I want to put articles together that you are most interested in. This will help my blog better serve you. For example: What should my percent body fat be?

Thank you,

Justin

Thanks for setting up your blog!!

Not sure how you feel about posting any 'eat this not that' things - helping people make better food choices or ways to tweak what they're doing now to get the most out of their food choices. (especially around the holidays! :)

Recipes would be helpful, too.

Also, info on goal setting would be great! It's such an important step in any journey, but most people ignore/skip it.

In short, the best rule of thumb I can give is make sure your meal is surrounded by protein. If you go to a holoday party with all bad food, fill your plate with protein rich foods. Shrimp or whatever protein source, develed eggs, nuts and seeds and salad. I would even do breads. I wouldn't worry about the elimination of foods as much as what "to" put on your plate. If you make your first plate ham, develed eggs, banana bread and wine you will win. You are giving your body the protein it needs, filing up and leveling the blood sugar. Not the sweets are not so hard to say no to and maybe won't even be desirable now. Good luck! I will write a more in depth article on it.

Goal setting-
We have to have goals. We should always write them down in a calander so we can keep ourselves on track. You and your trainer should have established some long term and short term goals on day one. If you did not ask him on your next workout. I once read a quote and I am not sure who wrote it but it said that a goal no written down is merely a dream.
